US Fair Ride

FREQUENT ASKED QUESTIONS

(1) How much can I earn?

Your pay is based on the time and distance of each ride according to your city’s rates. When lots of people are requesting rides — during commute hours or after a big concert — you can earn even more.

We also offer driver incentives to help you make extra money on top of each ride. Passengers also tip through the app — those are 100% yours.

(2) How do I get paid?

Your pay is based on the time and distance of a ride (and your tips). All payments are made through the Fair Ride Driver app weekly, so you’ll need to add your banking info to get paid. You can also set up Express Pay to cash out when you want.

(3) How long does the application process take?

Typically, filling out basic information (like your mobile phone number, driver’s license, and other documents) takes less than 30 minutes. Then a few more things need to happen:

Background check: Safety is our top priority, so we’ll need to run a criminal background check and review your driving history. This can take a few days to be completed.

Vehicle inspection: If you’re using your own car, some regions will require an inspection to make sure it’s road-ready.

(4) Can I rent a car instead of using my own?

Yes, you can rent a car through our TLC car rentals of your choice or from us when we have available cars. Once you’re approved to drive, you can just pick up your rental to start earning. TLC Insurance and standard maintenance are included.

(5) Is Fair Ride safe?

At Fair Ride, The safety of our drivers and users/ Riders are our top priority, we’re committed to driver and passenger safety, during, and after the ride.

24/7 live support: Easily contact our support team for reliable, around-the-clock help by phone or email, with any issues on and off the road. We also have emergency assistance: You always contact 911 directly from your app.

(6) Are there other requirements to drive in my city?

You can drive anywhere Fair Ride is available, but some cities have additional requirements. Find your city. You can also see if your car qualifies for Fair Lux, Fair SUV, and Fair Lux SUV to earn more on each ride.

(7) How does the Fair Ride Driver app work?

Once you’re approved to drive, just hop into your car, open the Fair Ride Driver app, and go online. You’ll be matched with someone who is requesting a ride near you.

If you need insurance for your own car, try Rideshare Policy. You’re covered whether your app is on or off — so you have peace of mind when you drive with FAIR RIDE. Learn more.
